Definition of calisthenic workout:

Calisthenic exercise is a way through which a person can effectively go about doing their daily workouts by using their body weight for resistance. This type of exercise consists of a number of simple yet very effective moves. Bodyweight calisthenics workouts have proven that even with the lack of various exercising equipment an individual can still manage to exercise just as effectively. This exercise deals with different types of movements which include; bending, jumping, swaying and kicking amongst various other physical activities which involve the use of the arms, legs, back as well as the neck. The effectiveness of this type of workout is largely contributed to the fact that every muscle of the body is involved when working out.
